Katherine Bates

Capturing that elusive moment when light enhances form has enchanted Katherine since the early 1960s when she began painting watercolors. A local graduate of Ashley Hall in Charleston and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she recently returned to Charleston from Ridgewood, New Jersey, where she was a member of the Ridgewood Art Institute. She has a significant award winning exhibit history.She is a member of the Charleston Artist Guild.
