Jim Dubs

Jim Dubs was a native of Pennsylvania and a graduate of Shippensburg State University. After earning a Masters degree from the University of South Florida, he moved to South Carolina to study watercolor painting with Erica Hoyt and Robert Mills. He subsequently moved to Charleston to continue his studies in watercolor teckniques. Oil paintings eventually became his medium of choice and he used the medium to uniquely capture the spirit and beauty of the Lowcountry. A very prolific painter, Jim leaves a strong legacy as a skilled painter and art teacher.
