Born and raised in Charleston, Tina has
studied oil and pastel painting in France, Italy,
and South Carolina. Her first love is capturing the charm of her hometown
of Charleston.
Her works have a painterly style, yet are soft and serene. She enjoys
the freedom of
painting en plein aire. "As a child I built tree forts in the old
oak trees, played in the pluff
mud marshes, and galloped my horse thru the pine forests of Wadmalaw Island.
Capturing
the essence of that landscape in my art is a way of re-capturing my youth."
