Kaye Penegar

After an early strong interest and lessons in art, Kaye graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Art. She subseqently worked in Charleston and then moved to San Juan, Puerto Rico where she studied with Jan D'Esopo. She later travelled Europe for six months where she studied artists who had influenced her career. A prolific painter, Kaye is currently focusing on acrylics. She is known for her handling of light and color. Kaye also sculpts award winning works and paints murals and has received numerous commissions.
