Scott Penegar

Scott Penegar received his Bachelor degree in Art from Appalachian State University. After working as an exhibit designer for the North Carolina Aquarium, he moved to Charleston before subsequently studying art in the Caribbean with Jan D'Esopo. Scott has extensive training and experience in sculpture and bronze castng. His current painting is strongly influenced by his passion for the sea. He has twice sailed solo from the United States to Europe. Scott returned to Charleston in 1995 to continue his career as a professional artist.
