Pat Van de Graaf

Pat Van de Graaf has been an artist and printmaker for over 25 years and has studied at the Art Students League in New York City and Syracuse University. She graduated from the University of Bridgeport with a degree in Printmaking/Art History. Although she enjoys doing woodcuts, she concentrates on etchings, sometimes combined with silk screen techniques and/or hand tinting. Pat lives in the Lowcountry in the cold weather and in New Canaan, CT., in the summer and enjoys active relationships in various prestigious artist guilds, galleries, and artist organizations in both locations. Surrounded by the beauty of the Lowcountry, Pat has begun painting in watercolors again. She enjoys capturing Lowcountry subjects and scenes with the unique qualities that are possible with watercolor techniques.
