Catherine B. Spencer

Catherine B. Spencer paints her strong feelings about her native Lowcountry landscapes, seascapes, and architecture. Painting in oils, acrylics, mixed media and watercolors. Catherine expresses a true Southern Lowcountry aesthetic in her art. Well travelled, she also captures her unique perceptions of the essence of place in her paintings. Catherine is also exploring collage and mixed media painting in abstract works. Recently Catherine has been engaged in a series of still life paiinting featuring fruit, flowers and blue willow china. She has won numerous awards in juried art exhibitions.
